Common Names
  • Large Cuckoo Wasp

The Cuckoo Wasp does not build its own nest but rather sneaks around the mud nests of other wasp where it lays its own eggs.

The larvae of the Cuckoo Wasp eats the entrapped insect left as food by the Potter Wasp for its own larvae, and may even eat the Potter Wasp larvae.
